Grant for a new project

I am very pleased to have been awarded a grant from the Goethe Institute to develop a new program with Domen Marinčič (Viola da Gamba). Since Domen lives in Slowenia, where at the moment the Corona lock-down is even more severe than in Germany, the support of the GI enables us to take time and work online, digitally, together. This project has been developing slowly, taking its time.... This support allows us to concentrate freely on the development of new ideas, making new arrangements of old works, and giving the project a strong and clear basis. Thank you, Goethe Institute!

I won't name the singer-songwriter yet...maybe soon: One of our great modern day singer-songwriters, a troubadour if you will, died not long ago, in 2016. I want to create a program that pays homage to his art and makes a connection to early French Renaissance chanson.
