Petra Noskaiová


Petra Noskaiová studied at the conservatory in Bratislava with Ružena Illenbergerová, and graduated in 1994. She participated in international master classes (Krieglach, Prague) and took master classes with Harry Van der Kamp at the Summer Early Music Accademy in Innsbruck and in France with Sigiswald Kuijken (Bach cantatas). She has collaborated with a large number of early music ensembles including Camerata Bratislava, Musica Aeterna, Prague Madrigalists, Musica Antiqua Praha, Capella Regia, Musica Florea, Collegium Marianum, Teatro Lirico, Capella Istropolitana, Solamente Naturali, Innegal, Academia, La Fenice, Le Concert Francais, LOD, Zefiro Torna, Andrew Parrott, Stephen Stubbs, Sigiswald Kuijken, Simon Standage, Harry Van der Kamp, Jean Tubery, Pierre Hantai, Philippe Pierlot, Suzie le Blanc, Howard Crook, Barbara Schlick, Paul Elliott and others. She has made many recordings featuring music by Antonio Sartorio (Orfeo), J.S.Bach (cantatas, St.John's and St. Mathew's Passion, H-mol Messe), J.D.Zelenka (Il Serpente di Bronzo), W.A.Mozart (Die Zauberflöte), Peter Zagar (Apocalypsis Ioannis), Franz Liszt (Via crucis), M.Schneider-Trnavský, K.Harant z Polžic, A.Vivaldi, Adam Michna z Otradovic and others.

For three years she sang as a guest in the Prague National Theatre (J.P.Rameau- Castor et Pollux, C.Monteverdi- Orfeo). Every year she participates in opera productions by various Czech, German and Italian baroque composers.
At present Petra Noskaiová collaborates with La Petite Bande (Sigiswald Kuijken), Huelgas Ensemble (Paul Van Nevel) and VocaMe (Michael Popp) with whom she makes recordings for Harmonia Mundi, Accent, Radio France, Klara, and Mezzo, and she participates in international festivals in Europe, America and Asia. At the same time she premieres compositions of contemporary composers together with ensembles Quasars and LOD.
